If u are purchasing and car and are going to finance, the title will go the the lean holder. ur husbands name can go on the registration, but with bad credit it will not be on the purchase paper work. his name will not be on the title at all. once u pay for the car the title will be mail to u in your name not his. if u want his name on the title then u can go to dmv and change the title.

depends on the state in which you reside and the banking laws .. it all needs`to be in your name as the car title is collateral and the loan is on your credit — you sign and you are responsible — you nbeed to buy a car you and hubby car pay outof work if one of you is out of work ….. just go to the bank and talk to your friendly loan officer and see what he can do to help you get a car and ask what is required and the rules for the loan and collateral…..
