today, out of control national debt, trade deficits skyrocketing, still no solution to our open borders, illegals flooding our country, jobs going overseas and the ever present Iraq conflict draining our tax dollars away from America. Conservatives, is this what you truly support? If a democratic President had done this, republicans would be screaming yet most (sixty something percent) still support the President and his policies, yet the GOP wants to convince its base they are responsible conservatives. What is a conservative today?

Note that these issues were also ignored by Clinton. It is not an excuse for Bush to do it.

It is pretty funny when Democrats are discussing the need for smaller government and more responsible spending, and Republicans aren’t. I think instead of Compassionate Conservative, the Bush Administration should be called Agressive Liberals.

And how long have these things been going on? Since long before Bush got into office. Trade deficits, jobs going overseas, illegals flooding our country, national debt, these are all things that can be dealt with, with the right tax reform plan. But Congress would rather try to micromanage the war instead of doing their jobs.
A Democratic President would have waited for us to be attacked again. They would have sent a 100,000 man posse after one man, Osama bin Laden, and then they would have invited him for tea and had a parade for him. After all they wouldn’t want to offend him.
And instead of our tax dollars going to fighting our enemies overseas, we’d be giving it to the illegal aliens here in the states. Either way the Democrats would find an excuse to raise taxes and blame everything on someone else.

Not a ranting lib lunatic on this forum(answering your question).What have the dems done for the USA.They were in power for 40 years prior to 1994.SO they dumbed down public schools to create more dems,broke the black families with welfare ,saddled us with stupid enviro laws that has driven gas to over $3.00 per gallon,gutted the military,broke the CIA and all intelligence services.Basically gave away the fu*cking store.So dude what are you so proud of?You should answer your own question and being a passionate person that you are-you will join us!
