If you filed and went through court I’m sure the court has a record of it. But I KNOW the bank does. And also, once you file bankruptcy your credit is screwed for 7 years to follow. So if you filed you most likely won’t get any credit from anyone. This would confirm that it went through.
Also Bankruptcy REMOVES all outstanding debt that you were in at the time. So you should no longer be receving bills from those creditors.

You certainly should have received paperwork from the court. Where is your attorney?

There is a site on-line where you can check, but they charge a fee.

Best bet is get a free credit report from the link below. It will appear there.

I think you are asking whether you have obtained a bankrupcy discharge. Many debtors use the term go through when they want to know about discharge. You should have received a discharge notice from court 60-90 days after your meeting of creditors (the 341 meeting). If you did not get it, you still may have been discharged.

First, call your lawyer if you had one.

If you did not use a lawyer, then look at the court’s website.

Type in, where XX is the two letter postal initial for your state, Y is the district of the federal court in which you are located (if there is such an indicator in your state, like Northern, Southern, Eastern, Central, Middle, Western) and b is the letter b for bankruptcy.

Log onto PACER and follow the instructions to find your case. Enter your social security number or name under Query to get your case number and look at the docket report Look for the order of discharge. Click that link and you will be able to print it out once you sign up for a PACER account. It’s cheap and free for small usage.

    Hope this helps.
