I notice that much of the Right has looked towards Sarah Palin – someone who left Wasilla, Alaska 20 million dollars in debt, was for earmarks before she was against it, and the list goes on and on. This woman had to go to 5 colleges just to get a simple Bachelor’s degree. In an age in which issues are complex and require complex solutions instead of just black-and-white hillbilly soundbytes, why have conservatives have turned to the bottom of the barrel rather than conservatives who actually are well-educated and more importantly, have shown results – such as Mitt Romney and the Utah Olympics – bringing it from a complete loss to a gigantic profit, or Newt Gingrich?

Dutch – I think Palin’s involvement in Troopergate as well as firing people like the town librarian (before being pressured to hire her back), reveals her corruptness quite well. Palin is hardly immune.
But Budd, if that were the case according to the logic you’ve just typed, Basically, republicans feel if they can run candidates that are mentally retarded they will get more liberal votes, wouldn’t Trig Palin make a better candidate, than Sarah? Not to mention if you’re implying Obama is retarded, than I guess him graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law was a fluke?
Thunderstruck she didn’t just struggle to get a college education.. Most people who struggle financially don’t have the resources to move FIVE times just for college. If she was a Democrat, you would definitely not be calling it a struggle that people identify with. Apparently, you fall for identity politics quite easily.

Speedfreak, you say, Why liberals are fascinated by degrees is a mystery. It’s so that you are actually educated and knowledgeable in a specific area, beyond that of a turnip. If I want a doctor, naturally he/she would need to get an MD. Why conservatives seem to hate education with those libruhl books is beyond me.
Jacob W, I’m not scared of her. That seems to be a constant refrain against any criticism against conservatives. So I can rightly assume that any criticism of Obama means you’re scared of him? It makes no sense. PLEASE run her in 2012, as it would be liberals’ dream to have her run, based not only her lack of education but more importantly her pride in her ignorance.
Do your thing – Palin is now the cheerleader for the GOP, and uses her former place as governor (a.k.a. a quitter) for political purposes. She’s fair game loser.

I have 2 missed payments and now I am receiving phone calls and letters from banker saying they will foreclose if not paid in full within days. I have not received a certified letter yet, so I am not in foreclosure. I started talking to a broker to refinance my mortgage. Can my current mortgage lender foreclose if I am at the early stages of a refi? So when exactly during the refinance process can my current mortgage lender no longer foreclose on me? During escrow? For a car not off their lot…we already found one we want. But a timeshare we had bought didn’t report that we had paid them in full and closed our account, and so it shows that we’ve been delinquent for like a year and 1/2 We are disputing it, but until its fixed our used to be good credit has been flushed down the toilet.

We really need to get another car (well van) because of the business we started and how much equipment we have to haul around, including our kids and 2 dogs. We found a used one for like $8000 (which puts our payments where we want them too, even at like a 20% interested)

But we’ve already been denied by the credit union and Chase bank And waiting for a reply from wellsfargo (but doesn’t sound promising)..

I don’t know where else you can apply, is there auto only lenders or anything out there?

Doesn’t matter, co-signers are only good if you have little or no credit…not crap credit. (sorry I just went through it all today so I’m still frustrated at the situation…should have gone to freecreditreport.com lol…then we would have known that they never reported paid)

Now the bank is coming after her to pay the card off. We received a letter stating that they were withdrawing $2K from our checking account to put towards the card.
