Would any girl date me in my current situation?

I’m 24 yrs old and I just moved to New York City from Chicago. I got a job as a bank teller but I owe my friend/roommate about $2,000 after moving down here which will take me at least a year to pay off on my currently salary.
I have very few skills but I’m good with practical real-life solutions. I’m 24 and look like I’m 19. I still have the occasional acne problems, which I hate to admit.
I’m not very talkative or confident but I would never disrespect a woman and I’m not a sleaze ball. Should I even bother looking for a g/f online or should I wait till I pay of this debt. Is there anything else I should work on before dating a girl?
This is the Internet and I am hoping for some honest answers since no one has anything to loose by being honest. I would prefer answers from only those in their 20s, thanks.
Okay, I guess I extend this question to anyone outside of their 20s.
