ized for 2 wks in isolation. i was on IV vancomycin…flagel , flora -Q, etc.that was 1 yr. ago…i have never felt the same since(never felt as good as before c. diff)..but, now my c diff is back…and will re-occur throughout my lifetime. i’m pissed because because not only do i feel miserable physically…but i’m going broke trying to finance my medications AND i do have insurance. the cost of these drugs is crazy! if i don’t take them, i can lose sections of my colon or even die. so now what? i have to live like this? can i sue someone to pay for my meds? my other doctors keep telling me how serious this infection is, but no solutions…so what do we do? 1. never take an antibiotic again for fear of re-activating this 2.just let every infection we get run rampant through our bodies 3. go into unrepayable debt for someting i had no idea i was getting into just to get a tooth filled?
